Psychotherapy Sessions

Additional Information

My Family's Village provides psychotherapy services to struggling families. A licensed therapist works with parents to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, relationship issues, and bodily responses, giving them the tools to become better parents.

Psychotherapy is a way to help people with a wide variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. It can eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and increase well-being and healing.

Therapy sessions are offered throughout the year, depending on the participant, sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly, from Monday to Friday. Sign up to receive more information and elegiblility.

Childcare Support

Additional Information

My Family's Village provides childcare for families participating in our psychotherapy sessions to support you while you attend your weekly or bi-weekly sessions in our office.

Parents will also have the option of using childcare services when they are not in therapy. As social workers, we understand the importance of children developing a rapport with teachers and childcare workers; therefore, parents attending therapy services will have the first option for their child to participate in childcare throughout the day. It will allow our social workers to understand better what goes on within the home, which can help them during therapy services.

Childcare will be provided during the therapy session or Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm. Sign up to receive more information.

Support Groups

Additional Information

Parents can participate in group therapy sessions with other parents struggling with similar issues. These group sessions will be run by a licensed social worker, who will be present throughout the session.

Group therapy will be once a week with ten participants in each class.
