"She believed she could, so she did." R.S. Grey. That's how Milland lived her life and became an emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness coach. Undeniably, she found her purpose and couldn't imagine doing anything else—her only goal, helping you win whatever that may look like for you.
Milland grew up without a vision. And "where there is no vision, there is no hope." George Washington Carver. And without hope, you've lost before you even begin. "I knew something was wrong; I didn't know what it was, how to fix it, and I never told anyone that I was an emotional wreck. And there I was, 24 years young, a high school diploma, giving birth to my fifth child, and living in my mom's overcrowded three-bedroom apartment. I made so many bad choices. I was so lost, hurt, and confused."
She became that statistic—the girl who would never make it. "All I ever wanted was not to feel emotionally distraught." Finally, she hit rock bottom and began an intensive therapy program. After years of counseling, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, stress, and neglect became a thing of her past. "I fought back ridding feeling emotionally distraught and found my happy."
"All those traumatic experiences opened the door to me specializing in helping others repair what's broken, detox emotionally, spiritually, and physically and give them the emotional justice that's due." And what better person to coach with someone who knows firsthand what it's like to suffer in silence.
"I love being the secretary at My Family's Village, but also I spend a great deal of my time helping others that lack the tools and resources to help themselves. That's my only goal and mission. And I thank God for choosing me."
